About 15 years ago there were two brothers who father was a past champion. Takahanada, who was the youngest of the two became champion early in his career and was known to get as many as 40 envelopes in a match but Chionofuji (the wolf) had the record at that time for 51 envelopes at one match. This is at the time that the Hawaiians were so popular, Akebono, Konishiki and Msashimaru. Akebono was the first non Japanese Yokozuna (Grand Champion)

I think each of those "advertising" flags that are marched around the dohyo also represents an envelope with a bit more than 30,000 yen for the winner of the particular match. Some of the big matches at the end of the tournament can feature more than 30 such envelopes.

Thanks for the video guys. It was fun to watch.
