Japan Podshow Special: Tokyo English LifelineIn the first of a series of special episodes that will pop up now and then between regular episodes of Japan Podshow, we highlight the work of TELL – the Tokyo English Lifeline.

Joseph recently went along to the TELL offices and spoke with Venera Jordon, who is overseeing the forthcoming 10th Annual TELL Charity Walk & Runathon, which is happening this Saturday, the 2nd of May.

The run will take place around the Imperial Palace in central Tokyo – and anyone can take part. You don’t need to register in advance, and there are prizes for the top ten runners in each category.

Joseph will be taking part, and encourages podshow listeners to do the same!

What is TELL?

Tokyo English Life Line seeks to be an accessible, community-serving organization that provides effective, confidential support and counseling for the international community. …[It] is a multifaceted, nonprofit organization that has been serving the international and business communities since 1973. Our services include free phone counseling and information, professional face-to-face counseling, and educational workshops.
